2-FACTOR AUTHENTICATION.

Due to the increasing threat of cyber-crime in today’s world Gunnison Savings & Loan requires two-factor authentication for all online banking logins.

 

What is two-factor authentication?

  • Two-factor authentication is an added layer of online security. In addition to your username and password, a code will be needed in order to access your accounts.

 

How’s does two-factor authentication work?

  • When you log on to your online banking account, a text message containing a numeric code will be sent to your mobile phone. Once received, you will be required to enter this code on the logon page before gaining access to your accounts.

 

What will I need to do to prepare for two-factor authentication?

  • The first time you log in to your online banking account you will be prompted to follow a one-time setup to enable this security feature.
